First,
you may be asking, what is a "point"?
The High Touch® Jin Shin "points" you
are about to locate on yourself are
acupoints along the body's energy meridian system. You could
think of them as
intersections or circuit breakers where energy is most likely
to become
congested, deficient or excessive along the meridians. Meridians
are part of your
body's energetic circulatory system. This system is completely
different from your
cardiovascular, nervous or lymphatic systems. Meridians
are part of your body's
"energy anatomy". Everyone has meridians.
High Touch® Jin Shin can help you
keep your energy untangled, tuned-up & flowing freely.
This often translates to an improved sense of well-being!
What do I do with this "point" after
I find it?
Use your index, middle & ring fingers' tips to
apply gentle pressure at the point.
You are invited to vary pressure for your own comfort
Simply making contact at the specified
pairs of points is
more important than the amount of pressure being applied.
Some people respond best to very light
pressure while others respond better
to moderate pressure & others respond best to firm pressure.
Listen to your body. Find out what works
best for you.
The point may feel sensitive, sore or tender.
Avoid harming yourself with excessive pressure.
How do you know if it is too much pressure? Observe the following.
Can you continue to breath comfortably & effortlessly
with the pressure you are applying?
Is your body guarding against the amount of pressure
being applied by tensing up more?
Your arms & shoulders should be relaxed while applying pressure.

The effects of High Touch® Jin Shin
are cumulative.
Before bed is an excellent time
to do this!
You may sleep better once you let go
of the past day's energy.
Practicing it when you first wake
up can help you
be more clear & focus for the day ahead.
